Independent Optometrist

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Optometrist to join our team as an Independent Optometrist leasing space inside our Walmart stores. As an Independent Optometrist, you will take a leading role in patient care with respect to eye and vision care as well as general health and well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality eye and vision care services to patients
• Conduct comprehensive eye exams and diagnose eye conditions
• Prescribe and fit glasses, contact lenses, and other vision correction devices
• Develop and implement treatment plans to improve patients' eye health
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in eye care and vision science

Requirements

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
• Valid state optometry license
• General Liability Certificate
• Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
• W-9
