Ultrasound Technician - Maternal Fetal Medicine

We are looking for a dedicated Ultrasound Technician to become part of our esteemed team. In this role, you will be tasked with guiding patients to examination areas, clarifying procedures, gathering data for physician analysis, maintaining accurate records, and supporting physicians during various medical interventions. Additionally, you will be responsible for the upkeep of ultrasound machinery, adhering to safety regulations, and engaging in ongoing professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide patients to examination areas
  • Clarify procedures to patients and their families
  • Gather data for physician analysis
  • Maintain patient records and documentation
  • Assist in medical procedures such as amniocentesis
  • Code services rendered
  • Oversee ultrasound equipment maintenance
  • Identify and resolve equipment issues

Qualifications:

  • At least six months of experience in an OB/GYN environment
  • Graduate from an accredited sonography program
  • CPR certification is mandatory
  • ARDMS OB/GYN certification or eligibility is required
