Automation Tester - Java Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Tester - Java to join our team in a 100% Remote position. As a Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automated test cases to ensure the quality of our software applications.

Job Description:

  • Develop and maintain automated test cases using Java and other relevant technologies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs.
  • Analyze and linearize algorithms, and understand how to use data structures correctly.
  • Strong experience testing REST API's with REST Assured, Strong UI testing experience - Selenium, Protractor or Cypress, and Strong understanding of Cucumber.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills, and learn new tools quickly.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of demonstrable hands-on automation testing experience (Java).
  • Good understanding of programming in Java / J2EE.
  • Ability to analyze and linearize algorithms, and understand how to use data structures correctly.
  • Strong SQL experience - familiarity with SQL joins, aggregation functions vs analytic functions.
  • Strong experience testing REST API's with REST Assured, Strong UI testing experience - Selenium, Protractor or Cypress, and Strong understanding of Cucumber.
  • Experience using AWS: EC2, EMR, S3, Lambda, RDS highly preferred.

Estimated Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 per year.
