Position Overview:

We are seeking a Corporate Counsel or Senior Corporate Counsel to join our Stamford, Connecticut office. This pivotal role will lead various legal and compliance initiatives within the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

  • Oversee legal matters related to supply chain, logistics, production, and quality inquiries.
  • Provide legal support to international stakeholders on U.S. contract negotiations.
  • Advise cross-functional teams on legal considerations and risks.
  • Draft and negotiate complex contracts across various domains.
  • Maintain the contract library and manage contract databases.

Operational Support:

  • Act as the primary legal contact for operational teams.
  • Assist in navigating legal issues throughout the supply chain process.
  • Support quality inquiries and coordinate responses to retailer requests.

Compliance Management:

  • Oversee the company’s compliance program and collaborate with HQ legal teams.
  • Train employees on legal policies and track compliance training.
  • Manage corporate records and assist with audits.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution.
  • Active member of a U.S. State Bar, eligible for Connecticut practice.
  • 6-10 years of relevant legal experience in a corporate or law firm setting.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations and R&D legal matters.
  • Excellent communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
