Job Summary:
A dynamic and ambitious Tanker Driver is sought after by Heritage Environmental Services, LLC to join our team of dedicated professionals in Indianapolis, IN. As a Class A CDL holder with tanker/hazmat endorsement, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of hazardous materials from various locations across the country. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, have a solid understanding of DOT regulations, and be capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment.

About the Role:
We are seeking an individual who can accurately complete manifests, maintain logbooks, and comply with state and federal regulations. This position requires a high level of responsibility, attention to detail, and physical stamina due to frequent climbing on tankers and pulling hoses. Our drivers must be willing to work in a safety-sensitive environment and adhere to RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times
- Drive and operate semi-tankers and straight trucks as required
- Reports to designated dispatchers, trips are assigned to load tanker trailers consisting of customers materials to move to a disposal site
- Completes manifests, company documents, and other marking and placarding documents for every load managed
- Maintains logbook for DOT compliance and state and federal regulations
- Drives to the customer site to collect waste material and/or transport hazardous and non-hazardous waste material to facility for unloading and disposal
- Acts as Company representative with courtesy towards customer

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of Class A CDL driving experience required
- Three years of Class A CDL driving experience preferred
- Tanker/Hazmat required
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Good interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate with internal and external contacts
- Ability to understand RCRA compliance standards and OSHA safety regulations and DOT Regulations
- Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this job
