Job Title: Accounts Payable Clerk I

At Resorts World New York, we are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk I to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment of company expenses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile and pay approved expenses in a timely and organized manner.
  • Verify all vouchers submitted for payment to ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Answer vendor payment inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Analyze vendor terms and provide recommendations to the Accounts Payable Manager.
  • Prepare Accounts Payable checks and electronic payments, including employee expense reimbursements.
  • Assist with online banking tasks, such as maintenance of Positive Pay.
  • Monitor Accounts Payable aging report for accuracy and timely payments.
  • Maintain all Accounts Payable documentation and files in a neat and organized manner.
Requirements:
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to work long hours.
  • Excellent math aptitude and ability to make decisions.
  • Experience with SAP preferred, strong Excel skills preferred, and experience with Microsoft Office applications a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
Education and Experience:

Must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school or equivalent diploma, and have the ability to obtain the appropriate license pursuant to the New York State Lottery regulations.

Associates Degree in a related field and one (1) year related work experience.
