Position Overview

Compensation Overview
Estimated earnings of approximately $2322.00 per week.
Hourly wage ranges from $25.00 to $29.00, subject to shift length adjustments.
Non-taxable stipends may apply, contingent on eligibility and seasonal variations.

Facility Information

Travel may be required between various facilities as needed. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. First-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Common Procedures

Experience in the following scans is preferred:

  • Trans Thoracic Echocardiography (TTE)
  • Trans Esophageal Echocardiography (TEE), including Bubble studies and Contrast echocardiography
Required Certifications

Applicants must possess:

  • BLS Certification
  • Current registry in Adult or Pediatric Echocardiography - ARDMS or CCI
  • Valid Driver's License and Proof of Insurance
Skills and Support

Ideal candidates should be proficient in adult echocardiography procedures, with pediatric and neonatal experience being advantageous. Support will be provided by a supervisor.

Technology and Equipment

Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Meditech Expanse, and equipment such as GE Echo systems and some Philips devices is required.

Orientation and Scheduling

Initial orientation will cover hospital-wide protocols, followed by departmental training focused on workflow and policies. Typical working hours are Monday to Friday, with on-call rotations every third weekend.
