Helicopter Flight Instructor/Evaluator

This is a challenging opportunity to serve as a Helicopter Flight Instructor/Evaluator for the Army National Guard Units. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for training and evaluating aviators on basic and advanced flight techniques.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct initial standardization flight evaluations for new air crew members and annual evaluations for assigned and attached pilots.
- Train and evaluate aviators on precision, non-precision, and GPS route navigation and instrument approaches.
- Perform preflight weather analysis and incorporate mission planning and preparation.
- Conduct initial instrument standardization rides for new air crew members and annual check rides for assigned and attached pilots.
- Train and evaluate IP's and provide technical supervision of the standardization program.
- Serve as rotary wing Maintenance Test Pilot Examiner/Function Check Pilot Evaluator.
- Train and evaluate ME/FCP's and provide technical supervision and standardization of the maintenance program.
- Maintain requirements and perform function of technical inspector for aircraft assigned.
- Responsible for the Army Aviation pre-accident plan.
- Prepare for safety, environmental, hazardous communication, occupational health, and other inspections.
- Serve as rotary wing Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) and/or Functional Check Pilot (FCP).
- Must be a rated pilot on flying status.
- Possess at least one year on-the-job experience and a competent understanding of the basic principles and concepts of this position.
- Must possess two years specialized experience in piloting and instructing pilot skills in one or more of the following main-frame/military aircraft: Fixed-wing, rotary, or remotely piloted aircraft (RPA).
Applicants must submit a DA Form 759, Individual Flight Record and Flight Certificate, as part of the basic application for this position.
