Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in Nashotah, Wisconsin. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient environment, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and maintain aseptic surgical fields, ensuring the highest standards of sterility and safety.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during procedures, anticipating their needs and providing timely support.
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment used in the operating room, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, push/pull with 30 pounds of force, and perform other physical demands of the role.
