Key Responsibilities:

As a project leader, you will guide the design team in the creation and approval of construction documents for assigned projects. You will engage in routine engineering tasks while demonstrating professional expertise. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting investigations and research to support planning and design decisions.

Job Details:

In this role, you will apply standard engineering practices and techniques, which may involve:

  • Assisting in the planning, design, and production of engineering drawings.
  • Supervising the production of these drawings and preparing specifications and permit application packages.
  • Conducting engineering investigations and research to facilitate project planning and execution.
  • Collecting and analyzing data, performing routine calculations, and evaluating alternative solutions.
  • Preparing technical reports and presentations.
  • Providing construction administration support, including reviewing shop drawings and attending project meetings.
  • Performing data acquisition and analysis to assess design feasibility and compliance with regulations.
  • Conducting field observations of construction activities as necessary.

Qualifications:

For the Civil Engineering Project Leader position, a minimum of 6 years of civil engineering or related experience is required. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to develop technical documentation. A valid driver's license is also necessary.

For the Senior Civil Engineering Manager role, candidates should have at least 8 years of relevant experience, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and civil engineering design software is preferred. A Florida Professional Engineering license and prior project management experience are mandatory.

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required for both positions, along with the requisite years of experience in land development engineering.
