Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $70,000 - $90,000, contingent upon experience. Responsibilities

As an Automotive Transmission Technician at Chevrolet of Palatine, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Performing repairs with efficiency and accuracy
• Communicating with customers and colleagues
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Diagnosing complex transmission issues
• Saving and tagging parts if under warranty or requested by the customer
• Examining vehicles for additional safety or service work

Qualifications

• GMC certified
• ASE certifications preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Manual dexterity
• Good judgment
