AHS Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Jackson, Tennessee.
Job Summary:We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to work in our state-of-the-art facility. As an Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients for procedures, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
Responsibilities:- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Operate imaging equipment, such as X-ray machines and fluoroscopy units, to produce high-quality images.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols and disposing of hazardous materials properly.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Current certification as an Interventional Radiology Technologist (CRT) or Registered Technologist (RT) in Radiography.
- 2+ years of experience in Interventional Radiology or a related field.
