Job Overview

Working Hours: 4:00pm - 2:30am

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Operates the Diamond Phoenix Pick to Light System along with the DOCS Warehouse Management System (WMS) to accurately select and place products into shipping boxes. It is essential to utilize electronic system readouts for precise picking while maintaining a high picking rate. The acceptable error rate for picking must not exceed the limits established by management.

· Interprets the WMS packing system to ensure the correct items are placed in shipping cartons, adhering to all packing requirements to satisfy customer specifications and shipping protocols.

· Engages in various tasks such as filling cartons with protective materials, sample products, and securely sealing cartons for safe shipping.

· Demonstrates the ability to be trained in all functions across different areas of the warehouse when not engaged in E-commerce packing duties.

· Accesses information within the Warehouse Management System, including warehouse locations, item inquiries, and confirms pick and pack operations at Value-Add stations.

· Contributes to the 6S Lean Program.

· Willingness to cross-train and assist in all warehouse areas as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

· Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent GED.

Experience:

· At least 1 year of experience in a dynamic warehouse setting.

· Familiarity with Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel is advantageous.

Essential Skills

· Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

· Ability to lift substantial weights throughout the day, typically ranging from 10-15 lbs, with occasional lifts up to 50 lbs.

· Capability to stand, turn, and bend for up to 10 hours daily.

· Proficient in operating pallet jacks and utilizing warehouse computer systems.

· Competence in reading and understanding written documents and computer-generated instructions.
