Join Our Team as a Home Health Aide

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to join our team at Caretenders Home Health, a part of LHC Group. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing personalized care and support to our patients in the comfort of their own homes.

About the Role

As a Home Health Aide, you will be responsible for providing patients with in-home personal care and designated health-related services to maintain their physical and emotional well-being. This includes assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as mobility, transfer, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting. You will also perform incidental household services essential to the patient's health care at home.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personalized care and support to patients in their homes
  • Assist with ADLs such as mobility, transfer, walking, grooming, bathing, dressing, eating, and toileting
  • Perform incidental household services essential to the patient's health care at home
  • Complete clinical notes for each visit within required timeframes
  • Follow current written aide assignment sheet and agency policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for care and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. You will also need to have a current CPR certification and a reliable vehicle or access to public transportation.
