Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Cath Lab Technologist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. As a Cath Lab Technologist, you will play a critical role in assisting physicians during advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pre-Procedure Preparation: Ensure that the Cardiac Lab procedure rooms are adequately stocked and equipped with sterilized instruments and equipment.
  • Procedure Assistance: Scrub in during procedures, assist physicians in maneuvering catheters, and obtain and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate and ensure the quality control of all equipment utilized in the cardiac cath lab, including hemodynamic and electrical amplifiers, digital and line fluoroscopic equipment.
  • Patient Monitoring: Monitor the patient's hemodynamic status during procedures in the cardiac cath lab and participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
Requirements
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, AART, and RCIS certification, as well as state-specific licensing when required.
  • Experience: 1 year of experience as a Registered Cath Lab Technologist.
