Job Title: Wastewater Market Sector Leader

We're currently seeking a Wastewater Market Sector Leader to join our Water Business Group in Montana. This role will play a critical part in shaping our company's future and making a meaningful difference in our communities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and team guidance for HDR's Wastewater projects, working closely with the Water Business Group Manager.
  • Manage projects and collaborate with other Project Managers and WBG team members to develop and deliver projects for clients.
  • Develop and grow business development relationships with clients, leveraging your expertise to drive growth and success.
  • Supervise and mentor Wastewater section staff, providing guidance and support to help them grow and develop in their roles.
  • Manage the financial aspects of Wastewater projects, ensuring they're completed within the agreed-upon schedule and budget.
  • Provide overall project delivery excellence for Wastewater projects executed by the team, ensuring high-quality results and client satisfaction.
  • Work closely with project engineers, engineers in training, and CAD/GIS professionals to execute planning-level projects, including reports and technical documents.
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines to provide integrated solutions and support business development opportunities.
  • Perform QA/QC of internal and external deliverables, ensuring they meet HDR's high standards.
  • Identify staff training needs and provide training as established by strategic plans and objectives.
  • Mentor staff and help develop their professional abilities, fostering a culture of growth and development.
  • Provide technical knowledge and support to the section, including engineering standards, Montana regulations, best practices, and project management tools.
  • Develop and review scope and fee proposals, ensuring they accurately reflect the project's scope and requirements.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in a related field.
  • Professional registration, license, or certification may be required based on the role.
  • Strong communication and listening skills, with the ability to handle multiple assignments and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Good leadership and organizational skills, with a proven track record of success in a similar role.
