Job Summary

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Personal Care Assistant to join our team. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will provide varying levels of care to senior clients, including personal hygiene assistance, mobility support, medication reminders, meal preparation, household chores, companionship, errands, and health monitoring.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and oral care.
  • Assist with mobility, including transferring, walking, and using mobility aids.
  • Remind clients to take medications on schedule and as prescribed.
  • Prepare nutritious meals and assist with eating if necessary.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
  • Provide companionship and engage in activities to reduce feelings of loneliness.
  • Assist with errands, such as grocery shopping and picking up prescriptions.
  • Monitor clients' physical and mental health and report any changes to family members or healthcare providers.
  • Ensure a safe living environment by addressing potential hazards and monitoring for any signs of distress or emergencies.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of caregiving experience, preferably with senior clients.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 40 pounds and assisting clients with mobility requirements.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Commitment to providing critical and consistent care to clients.
  • Reliability to show up for shifts on time and provide companionship and care to seniors.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background and driving record checks with no felonies.
