We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at Ascension St. John Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality computed tomographic procedures to diagnose and treat patients.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring accurate and safe procedures.
- Operate CT scanners and other equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnosis and treatment.
- Administer contrast media and medications as needed, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Monitor patient safety and well-being during procedures, reporting any abnormalities or concerns.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- Current certification as a Registered Technologist (RT) in Computed Tomography (CT) or Nuclear Medicine (NM).
- 2+ years of experience in CT or NM, with a strong understanding of imaging protocols and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
