Qualifications:
- Active California license as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is required.
- Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- A minimum of four (4) years of clinical nursing experience within the last five (5) years.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is necessary.
- Experience in a Medical-Surgical environment, including hospitals or skilled nursing facilities, is preferred.
- Prior teaching experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Up-to-date immunization records are required.
- Compensation ranges from $40 to $50 per hour, based on experience and educational background.
Work Environment:
- Standard office/classroom/lab or clinical setting.
- Responsibilities may involve working in various environments, including skills labs or bedside settings as required by the program.
- Interactions with others and managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment are common.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Physical capability to perform assigned duties.
- Proficient in using electronic devices and office equipment.
- Effective verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to read fine print and operate computers accurately.
- Capable of lifting and moving objects weighing between 10-25 pounds as necessary.
