Rocky Mountain Cancer Centers, a leading provider of cancer care, is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in Aurora. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of providing the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:

Administer chemotherapy, hydration, and other medications under the direction of a physician, maintaining knowledge of drug reimbursement procedures and completing all chemotherapy charge forms. Ensure pre-authorization and consent forms are obtained prior to therapy administration. Facilitate dose modification by assessing patient needs, consulting protocols, and consulting physicians regarding dosage adjustments. Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, and maintain central lines catheter devices. Administer medications using correct product, dosage, route, time, and technique. Document nursing assessments, patient teaching, and fluid and medication administration in the patient chart. Communicate pertinent information and interventions to the physician. Triage patient phone calls and document relevant information in the patient's chart.

Requirements:

Graduate from an accredited program for professional nursing education, BSN preferred. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Minimum two years of nursing experience, with oncology experience preferred. Must maintain continuing education requirements.
