Pharmaceutical Services Technician Job Description:
The Pharmaceutical Services Technician plays a crucial role in supporting Pharmacists by facilitating the distribution of medications, providing technical assistance, and delivering clinical services related to the preparation, storage, and dispensing of pharmaceuticals.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications.
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues within the assigned area.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure effective medication management.
  • Participate in medication therapy management and reconciliation processes.
  • Support compliance with legal, regulatory, and safety standards.

Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
- OR Registered as a Pharmacist Intern with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy (TSBP)
Preferred Qualifications:
- ACPE approved IV (sterile products) certification.
- Previous hospital experience is advantageous.

Work Schedule:
Days. Flexibility to work additional shifts as necessary for coverage.
