**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled physiatrist to join our team as a rehabilitation medicine physician. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing patients with chronic conditions and physical disabilities, and will be committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.

About the Role:

  • Provide expert medical care to patients with physical disabilities and chronic conditions, using a holistic approach to address their needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations, identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, therapists, and social workers, to coordinate care and ensure continuity.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection protocols.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and treat patients with physical disabilities and chronic conditions, using evidence-based practice guidelines and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, working collaboratively with other healthcare providers to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless coordination of care.

Requirements:

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Physiatry (American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation)
  • Valid medical license in Arkansas (or ability to obtain)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience working with diverse populations and age groups
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in physiatry
