Electrical Construction Regional Senior Project Manager Job Description

P1 Construction is seeking an experienced Electrical Construction Regional Senior Project Manager to join our team in the Midwest area, reporting to our Lenexa, KS office.

This role will entail managing electrical construction projects or assisting senior management on large hyper-scale projects in or around the Midwest. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of contract documents, budgets, and safety, statutory, and legal compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage project coordination, scheduling, and construction
  • Monitor project accounting and profitability
  • Maintain constructive relationships and supportive communications with clients, vendors, subcontractors, inspectors, community officials, P1 staff, and immediate supervisor
  • Lead subordinates as defined by P1's leadership model and its operating principles

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Meets one of the following education requirements: Bachelor's degree in a construction or electrical engineering related discipline, or at least five years of electrical construction field trade experience/training/education, or equivalent combination of the above
  • Experience: Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience working as an Electrical Construction Project Manager on large construction projects, directly overseeing electrical construction work
  • Experience in Mission Critical or Advanced Technologies construction projects is preferred
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Working knowledge of computer software including Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
