We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician II to join our team at St. John Medical Center. As a Pharmacy Technician II, you will play a critical role in assisting pharmacists with the retrieval, processing, and distribution of medications and sterile products for patient administration.
Key Responsibilities- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and distribution of medications, including unit dose medications, IV admixtures, and parenteral nutrition.
- Accurately prepare patient medications, including sterile products, chemotherapy, and unit dose medications.
- Deliver patient-specific medications in a timely and accurate manner.
- Inventory, replenish, and maintain drug stock, including automated dispensing cabinets.
- Assist pharmacists with medication-related issues and provide excellent customer service.
- High School Equivalent/GED and graduation from an accredited pharmacy technician program.
- Prior experience as a pharmacy technician in a hospital or community setting is preferred.
- Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification is required.
As a Pharmacy Technician II at St. John Medical Center, you will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals. You will be required to stand frequently, walk frequently, and lift up to 50 pounds.
