Join Our Team:
Skydio is seeking a talented Deep Learning Engineer to join our team of experts in autonomous flight technology. As a key member of our autonomy system development team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and deploying computer vision and multimodal deep learning models for Skydio's products.

About the Role:
In this role, you will work closely with our team to leverage massive amounts of real-world video and sensor data for data mining, curation, labeling, training, and evaluation. You will refine and optimize models for low-latency on embedded hardware, develop evaluation benchmarks and metrics to quantify the performance of autonomous systems, and be a generalist helping out on all aspects of the software when needed.

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related discipline, with demonstrated hands-on experience designing, training, and deploying deep learning models. You should be able to deliver high-quality, well-architected code (Python/PyTorch and C++) and leverage state-of-the-art academic papers and literature for fast iteration. Additionally, you should be comfortable navigating and delivering within a complex codebase, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and highly technical team environment.

Compensation:
The annual base salary range for this position is $170,000 - $277,500. Compensation will vary based on factors including skill level, proficiencies, transferable knowledge, and experience. In addition to base salary, Skydio full-time employees are eligible to enroll in our benefit plans and take advantage of various incentives and stipends.
