Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist

CrossMed Allied is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to help healthcare professionals diagnose and treat various medical conditions.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures using various types of equipment, including ultrasound machines and Doppler devices.
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and applying gel or other substances as needed.
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to produce high-quality images of internal organs and tissues.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including radiologists, physicians, and nurses, to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history, test results, and treatment plans.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest ultrasound technology and techniques through ongoing education and training.
Requirements:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field.
  • Current certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in ultrasound technology, preferably in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
  • Ability to lift and move equipment, as well as stand for long periods of time.
