We are seeking a highly skilled Substation Site Civil Engineer to join our team at Leidos in Framingham, Massachusetts. As a senior member of our site/civil department, you will work on a variety of electric utility projects, utilizing your expertise in site/civil design engineering to deliver high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop site layouts, grading, and drainage plans for substation sites
- Conduct research and gather site data through various sources
- Collaborate with other design disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
- Develop and maintain construction drawings, specifications, and quantity take-offs
- Provide construction observation and field engineering services
- B.S. degree in Civil Engineering
- 2+ years of directly applicable civil-site design experience
- P.E. license preferred
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation OpenSite Designer software
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling & design programs
- Strong analytical and technical writing skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with clients and staff
