This role is essential in delivering direct assistance to promote a recovery-oriented lifestyle for individuals enrolled in the program. All staff members in this capacity are responsible for administering client medications and providing services that foster a supportive therapeutic environment.

Compensation for the Support Specialist position ranges from $21.50 to $22.50 per hour.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist residents in achieving daily living tasks effectively.
  • Facilitate all client admissions and discharges.
  • Help clients access relevant community resources.
  • Design and execute structured activities, recreational and therapeutic programs for residents, including outings, discussions, games, and daily living activities as assigned.
  • Engage and communicate with family members or guardians as required.
  • Contribute to quality assurance through diligent maintenance of client records.

REQUIREMENTS:

A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent training in mental health, is preferred.
