Four Seasons Hotel Miami is seeking a Room Service Operations Supervisor who embodies a passion for excellence and brings enthusiasm to every task. Our team members have the unique opportunity to enhance our guests' experiences by delivering exceptional service and knowledge in support of our esteemed organization.
The Opportunity:
- Oversee the daily operations of In-Room Dining in the absence of the Food & Beverage Manager, ensuring adherence to Four Seasons standards.
- Recruit, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and manage all staff within the room service department to uphold our cultural and core standards.
- Maintain a visible presence in the operation, provide recognition, foster positive public relations, and address any guest inquiries, concerns, or special requests.
- Ensure the quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods, while providing knowledge of wines and spirits in an elegantly appointed environment dedicated to 24-hour in-room dining and private bar services.
- Manage labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory control.
- Monitor the physical condition of facilities and equipment, recommending improvements as necessary.
- One to two years of experience in a supervisory or assistant manager role within Food & Beverage.
- Familiarity with division operations and Four Seasons cultural and core standards, policies, and procedures, typically acquired through on-the-job experience.
- Understanding of food & beverage service, cost control, labor management, maintenance, merchandising, and accounting.
- Proficiency in operating computer systems related to food & beverage services.
- Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work eight to ten hour shifts; scheduled days and hours may vary based on operational needs.
