Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solder Technician to join our team at Regal Staffing Services. As a Solder Technician, you will be responsible for performing soldering operations on printed circuit boards (PCBs) and other electronic components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Soldering Operations: Perform soldering on PCBs and other parts for all assigned units according to written instructions and drawings.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of components used in the upgrade and rework process.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that equipment is upgraded within 48 hours.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply with all established safety and ESD procedures while performing assignments.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean work area according to department standards.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification: Soldering Certification preferred.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of previous electronic repair experience, including SMT soldering.
  • Skills: Experience in handling, reworking, tracking, and inspecting of lead-free PCB assemblies. Ability to read and understand work instructions and drawings.
  • Physical Demands: Long periods of sitting and bending over a workbench using soldering and microscope/magnifying instruments. Physical requirements include seeing, standing, reaching, hand dexterity, ability to distinguish colors, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
