Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Associate/Assembler to join our team at Morgan Truck Body LLC. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for building and assembling truck bodies, ensuring high-quality products that meet our customers' needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret orders, specifications, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate assembly and fabrication.
  • Cut and shape materials using various saws, sheers, and cutters to meet precise requirements.
  • Assemble parts using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or fasteners, ensuring secure and durable connections.
  • Operate pneumatic tools and hand tools to complete tasks efficiently and safely.
  • Perform setup and maintenance tasks as required to ensure smooth production operations.
  • Examine finished projects for quality and defects, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Conduct safety and quality checks to ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in truck body assembly or a related field.
  • Basic math, tape measurement, and computer skills to accurately interpret and apply instructions.
  • Ability to work with hand and power tools, reading and interpreting blueprints and instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience working on truck bodies or in a related field.
  • Construction experience or knowledge of building codes and regulations.
Work Environment

This position operates in a manufacturing plant environment, requiring regular standing, walking, and use of hands to perform tasks. The team member may be required to sit, bend, stoop, squat, reach overhead, or crawl in confined spaces.
