The Veterinary Medicine Professional will oversee and manage all veterinary and medical care related to shelter animals, including planning and implementing a comprehensive healthcare program, providing triage and emergency medical care, and monitoring the health of shelter animals. This role also involves performing high-volume spay and neuter surgeries and advising the Animal Control Director and Officers on abuse, cruelty, and neglect cases.
Requirements- Licensed DVM with at least two years of experience as a veterinarian
- Able to qualify for and obtain a Schedule IV DEA license and Michigan Pharmacy license
