Position Overview:
As a Travel Nurse RN, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:
1. Contributing to the development of comprehensive patient care plans.
2. Participating in weekly clinical staffing meetings to review and enhance patient treatment strategies.
3. Providing essential medication education to patients and their families.
4.

Ensuring that patients' emotional and psychological observations are communicated effectively to the medical and clinical teams, with accurate documentation in patient records.

5. Leading educational sessions and teaching groups as per the APU schedule.
6. Mentoring LPNs and MHTs in proper charting, vital signs monitoring, patient routines, and de-escalation techniques.
7. Engaging actively in performance improvement teams or other unit task forces.
8. Accepting educational or marketing assignments as designated by management.
9. Keeping Therapeutic Options certification current.
10. Serving as a positive role model for both patients and colleagues through professional conduct, attire, and hygiene.

Submission Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience - Required
- De-Escalation training - Highly Preferred
- Recent travel experience - Highly Preferred
- Flexible scheduling - Preferred, block scheduling may not be approved
- Profile History Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, relevant to the specialty
- Two Supervisory Reference Forms, completed within the last two years
- Licensure Certifications (OK State License or compact BLS - AHA, NIH)

Work Details:
- Rate: 71
- On Call: No Call
- Weekend Description: As needed (AHA)

Guaranteed Hours:
- Contract Weeks: 91
