Access Services is seeking part-time Recovery Coaches to support individuals with mental illness in their homes and communities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting program alumni in managing crisis and connecting with a social network.
  • Maintaining a cooperative and caring attitude toward others.
  • Meeting with Assistant Directors for supervision.
  • Ensuring the highest quality of care to individuals.
  • Representing Access Services in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining effective working relationships with personnel from state and local agencies.
  • Reporting operational or staff concerns according to Access Services' policies.
  • Providing accurate and timely communication to Assistant Directors.
  • Maintaining daily logs and documentation.
  • Attending necessary meetings and providing personal care as needed.

Requirements:

  • High school or GED required, with a Bachelor's degree in a related human services field preferred.
  • One year direct care experience with individuals with mental illness required.
  • Valid driver's license, regular access to a reliable vehicle, and adequate car insurance.
  • Two years of driving experience, no driver's license suspensions in the last 48 months.
