The Room Attendant plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of guest accommodations. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional service to guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize bathrooms, including bathtubs, toilets, sinks, and mirrors, utilizing appropriate cleaning tools and agents.
- Follow established cleaning protocols and guidelines for the use of cleaning products.
- Change bed linens and make beds, which may involve lifting items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including furniture, fixtures, and window ledges.
- Vacuum carpets and empty waste bins throughout the guest rooms.
- Restock and replenish amenities, linens, and supplies in guest accommodations.
- Manage room keys responsibly, ensuring proper access to assigned rooms and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.
- Maintain consistent attendance and be available for scheduled shifts.
- Perform additional tasks as required to support the housekeeping team.
Essential Skills and Attributes
