Role Summary:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, preventive maintenance, and repair of all equipment, including filling and packaging machinery, pumps, mixers, and the physical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct general maintenance tasks, both preventive and emergency, including the operation and testing of various equipment.
  • Assist in developing and managing the preventive maintenance schedule.
  • Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager to update maintenance checklists and maintain compliance with production and safety standards.
  • Help create a comprehensive library of parts and operating manuals for all equipment.
  • Manage inventory of maintenance tools and parts.
  • Recommend and estimate costs for equipment and parts necessary for maintenance projects.
  • Operate heavy machinery, including forklifts, and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Perform all duties related to the safe operation of equipment and facilities.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to adapt to a variety of maintenance tasks and responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic system maintenance.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Competency in general computer and email usage.
  • Experience with high-speed filling machines, automated capping systems, and other advanced manufacturing equipment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with low voltage systems, circuit boards, and servo motors is advantageous.
