Job Description: Metallurgical Processing Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled Metallurgical Processing Operator to join our production team at Vallourec Star LP. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heat treatment equipment to produce high-quality metal products.

Main Duties:

  • Operation of heat treatment equipment, including furnaces, quenching machines, and thermal analysis systems.
  • Monitoring and recording of temperature, pressure, and flow rate during heat treatment processes.
  • Measurement and control of material thickness and surface finish.
  • Adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participation in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in industrial heating operations or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of metallurgy and heat transfer principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
  • Able to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods.

Estimated Annual Salary: $55,000 - $75,000
