Job Summary
The Registered Nurse / RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients. The Registered Nurse / RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination of the patient's experience and integration of patient care based on the nursing process.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct high-quality and patient-focused care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, Infection Control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care provided.
- Coordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely communication of patient information.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and outcomes.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS certification
- For Telemetry and higher acuity units: ACLS (AHA) and Basic EKG interpretation are also required.
