Job Title: Registered Nurse PRN

At Methodist Health System, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse PRN to join our team. As a Registered Nurse PRN, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse PRN to provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • Support the mission, vision, values, and strategic goals of Methodist Health System
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Assume responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/significant other educational process
  • Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, coworkers, and facility
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification
  • Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so
  • Work experience: Six months critical care RN experience
