Job Description

Ryder System is seeking a dedicated SOLO Class B CDL Driver to join our team in Richmond, CA. As a valued member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering freight to various locations in the Bay Area and Redding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer
  • Maintaining accurate records and logs
Requirements:
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide a valid CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
