We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Grand Strand Medical Center. As a key member of our Imaging department, you will be responsible for preparing patients for radiological procedures, operating diagnostic equipment, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for radiological procedures by positioning them, adjusting immobilization devices, and operating equipment to set exposure factors.
- Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by practicing radiation safety protocols.
- Operate diagnostic equipment, process images, and prepare rooms for procedures.
- Ensure accurate patient records, schedule patients, and oversee patient transportation.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
- RT Certification from ARRT.
- State License required.
- Minimum of 1 year's experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
