Job Title: Labor and Delivery Nurse Night Shift

We are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Nurse to join our team on a travel nursing assignment in Bakersfield, California.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing assignment with a 36-hour workweek, working 12-hour night shifts. As a Labor and Delivery Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns, ensuring a safe and comfortable delivery experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized patient care to laboring women and their newborns
  • Assess and monitor patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Document patient progress and outcomes
Requirements:
  • Current RN license in California or multistate compact RN license
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • ACLS certification
  • 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery nursing
