Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address communication challenges and improve speech, language, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
  • Provide Therapy Services: Provide therapy services to patients of all ages, including pediatric and adult populations.
  • Collaborate with Healthcare Professionals: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure coordinated care and optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain Accurate Records: Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress.

Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: A masters degree in speech-language pathology is required.
  • California Speech-Language Pathologist License: A California speech-language pathologist license or eligibility for licensure is required.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence: A certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Experience Working with Pediatric and Adult Populations: Experience working with pediatric and/or adult populations is preferred.
  • Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Compassionate and Patient-Centered Approach: A compassionate and patient-centered approach to therapy is required.
