Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Nursery Worker to join our team at Bachman's Inc. As a key member of our agricultural team, you will be responsible for manually planting, cultivating, and harvesting a variety of crops, including vegetables, fruits, nuts, and horticultural specialties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manually plant, cultivate, and harvest crops using hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives.
• Perform tasks such as tilling soil and applying fertilizers, transplanting, weeding, thinning, or pruning crops, applying pesticides, and cleaning, grading, sorting, packing, unloading and loading harvested products.
• Work in a fast-paced outdoor environment with varying weather conditions and temperatures.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient crop production and quality control.

Requirements:

• 3 months of experience working in agriculture.
• Ability to perform physical job duties outdoors for 8-10 hours per day.
• Ability to lift/move 50 lbs. on a regular basis and up to 100 lbs. on an occasional basis.
• Ability to work with plants in a farm setting and adjacent to or with nursery equipment, agricultural chemicals, and other related agricultural activities.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with 0-15 hours of overtime as needed. Work hours are 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with extended hours and Saturdays as needed.
