Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Test Automation Frameworks: Write scripts and create automation environments for repeated tests using different automation tools, design, test, and deploy effective test automation solutions.
  • Test Plan Development: Design and deliver the test plan for projects, provide input on estimates for the duration of activities, and resources needed to implement the test plan.
  • Test Design and Execution: Develop the test design requirements, including purpose, preparation, and usage, lead the designing of test cases and scripts, including the techniques and approaches to be used for validation of the product.
  • Test Automation and Scripting: Develop and run automation scripts through the designated test tool, use automation as part of a project, and incorporate automation into project reporting.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business and IT professionals, to discuss application-related issues, provide consistent UAT support to business, and bring in-depth knowledge of multiple testing products and approaches.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
  • Experience: 6+ years of business experience, with a strong background in automation tools, processes, and techniques, preferably Selenium/Appium.
  • Skills: Working knowledge of BPM experience, ability to leverage ready-made automation frameworks, good knowledge of DB testing, and solid understanding of Continuous Integration Tools.

Preferred Skills:

  • Automation Tools: Serenity BDD, a Java-based framework, REST Assured, Rest Sharp, and other relevant tools.
  • Programming Languages: Java, Python, or other relevant languages.
  • Database Testing: Good knowledge of DB testing, including writing complex SQL queries.
