Key Responsibilities- Patient Communication: Utilize the AIDET method to effectively communicate with patients, ensuring their needs are met and establishing a positive rapport.
- Diagnostic Imaging: Perform timely and accurate radiology procedures, ensuring that patients receive the necessary evaluations and treatments.
- Record Keeping: Properly record patient information and maintain accurate records in our Health Electronic Record (HER) system.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform quality control checks and audits on radiologic equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Radiation Safety: Implement radiation safety measures and protection devices to safeguard patients and staff.
- General Patient Care: Provide assistance with general patient care as needed, ensuring a seamless and compassionate experience.
- Team Collaboration: Attend staff meetings and participate in team efforts to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Education: Associate degree from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
- Licensure: Current ARRT license and NM License.
- Certification: Current BLS certification.
