We are seeking a skilled Plumber-Pipe Fitter to join our team at Wingo Service Company, Inc. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems, with a focus on installation of new chemical storage tanks.

Key Responsibilities

• Installations of chemical tanks, bulkheads, screw pipe, valves, and fittings.
• All piping is Stainless Steel 1/2" to 3".
• Ability to pressure test tubing/piping systems to check for leaks, or other issues, and perform preventive maintenance.
• Understanding of safety practices and protocols, including OSHA standards, confined space entry, and proper use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Work closely with electricians, fabricators, and other construction or maintenance personnel to ensure all systems integrate seamlessly.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues and provide effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining technical issues to clients in a clear and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a plumber, with expertise in tank installation preferred.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan the installation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid plumbing license is preferred but not required.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is required.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2-5 Years plumbing experience.
• Valid plumbing license
• Tubing fitting experience is ideal but not required
• Experience with piping systems in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, or chemical plants.

Compensation and Benefits

Wingo Service Company, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package. This position guarantees 40 hours per week with compensation between $30-$40/hr based on experience.

This position will be 98% located at our office/shop 11173 Cox Rd. Conroe TX 77385. With the 2% being around the greater Houston area.
