Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a skilled and experienced RN for the role of Home Health RN Assistant Clinical Manager. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality patient care and efficient service delivery.

About the Role

This position involves evaluating nursing activities to guarantee excellent patient care, staff relations, and operational efficiency within the team. You will act as a resource and support for clinical staff, facilitating collaborative teamwork on the unit and with ancillary departments. Additionally, you will oversee the Quality Program for the clinic, ensuring all standards are met, and maintain procedural manuals and necessary equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate clinical record documentation according to agency policy and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and be available for federal and state licensure surveys.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities, including but not limited to clinical record review, quality indicator monitoring, and quality management.
  • OASIS and/or coding experience is strongly desired.
  • Act as a Preceptor to coordinate orientation and training for new RN Clinical hires.
  • Provide ongoing training and educational opportunities for Clinical staff.
  • Serve as a senior member to all staff regarding quality improvement and documentation.
  • Oversee clinical orientation duties, including documentation and quality improvement, for new health-related employees.
  • Carry a caseload of patients, understand, and perform the admission process plan of care.
  • Supervise RN, LPN, and HHA field staff as indicated.
Requirements
  • Active RN licensure in the state of application.
  • Associate's degree required.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • Medicare skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Basic understanding of OASIS preferred.
  • RN experience in healthcare (home health) preferred.
