About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Store Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a Store Associate, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and supporting the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process customer purchases, operate a cash register efficiently and accurately, and maintain a high level of cash handling accuracy.
  • Stock shelves and merchandise displays neatly, ensuring a visually appealing store environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals, maintain a clean and organized store, and support the overall success of the store.
  • Participate in taking store inventory counts, monitoring inventory for accuracy, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Prior work experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
  • Ability to operate a cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Ability to safely and properly operate equipment, including electric/manual hand jack, floor scrubber, and cardboard baler.
  • Ability to perform general cleaning duties to company standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment.
