Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Intern at Walgreens, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment. You will work closely with our pharmacy team to provide exceptional customer service, process prescriptions, and maintain accurate inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist pharmacists and other healthcare providers in delivering patient care and services
  • Process prescriptions, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications
  • Provide excellent customer service, answering questions and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, including ordering, unpacking, and storing pharmaceuticals
  • Assist with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring the pharmacy department is clean, neat, and orderly
Requirements:
  • Must be enrolled in a school of Pharmacy program
  • Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment
  • Prefer to have prior work experience with Walgreens
  • Prefer good math skills to accurately fill prescriptions
